About Us
Formed in 2018, the Friends of Jackson Woods is a group of local volunteers committed to the revitalization of Jackson Woods, a thirteen acre wetland park located in the north end of Long Branch, NJ.

Our mission is to transform this land into a unique, innovative and sustainable urban park.

Working collaboratively with local government, business and non-profit organizations we will preserve the park’s unique ecosystem and the habitat it provides for local wildlife, while creating a serene and aesthetically pleasing area for passive recreation, environmental education, promotion of the arts and preservation of Long Branch’s rich history that can be enjoyed by both residents and visitors.
